i've been wanting to upload this ever since i finished it but i had to wait for it to be released over here: [link] asdfjwaiojflasjkfTHECOVERadsfkjiowaejr!! because of computer problems, the original artist for the cover wasn't able to submit theirs so i was asked if it was okay to use mine and i was all "aksdjfioeawr!! okay!! askdfjearkj!! okay!!" i think it was close to how i replied in the e-mail.

little tidbits:
- the mermaid's a slow swimmer so her hair has stinging strands like a jellyfish
- they trade interesting tidbits from the sea and land with each other
- the angel's a curious sort so he started the whole friendship thing
- nope, no romance between these two. purely friends.

i was surprised to find how quick it was to color this. the sketch and flat background colors sat for a week in my hard drive. all done in paint tool sai and added a texture in photoshop which made it pop, oh my~!
