lineart for the moment 'cause i wanted to color this ala digital but i can't 'cause my tablet went kaplut on me. dang. gonna try traditional means. learning how to do spots and line, y'know. if y'all want to color it, that's fine by me but credit the lineart to me.

totally traditional using micron pens and a drawing pad. usage of photoshop for means to get a really nice contrast and clean up the mess i made in the original.

characters are from skip-beat! and belong to creator yoshiki nakamura.

i love this manga. and i love ren tsuruga (the dude on bottom left). and kyoko mogami (the girlie). though i'm kinda "eh." on sho fuwa (the dude on top right) there.

ahem. yes this is the only shojo manga currently that i'm fangirling like crazy over.

I totally agree with you on the whole fangirling biz, when I read the first volume, I was like, 'THIS is going to be an awesome manga!' So I started collecting, and low and behold, it keeps getting better and BETTER! :aww: I also agree about Ren, for he is HOT, and super cool. :floating:

I love the pic over all, 'cause you got some serious skill-age apparently when it comes to line art. You're style's pretty cool too. :aww: I feel as if you got Sho's adittde perfectly in this picture. If I had to critque', I'd say that my only worry would be Ren's hair... I don't have a book in front of me right now, but I feel as if it's different from what you did... (though I don't blam anyone who tries to draw him, the artist HERSELF said he was the most difficult to draw. oO;; )

I can't wait to see it colored! :heart: You go girl! :aww:

thank you, thank you! let us squeal in delight that is skip beat and the wonderful images of ren tsuruga.

i'm too harsh with my lines; i tend to do thick lines. yes, ren overall worried me the most but . . . oh well, i wish i could draw him hotter (hmm, maybe later . . . ).

the color is in the works!

Awesome! Can't wait! (for the color) :aww: But, yeah, again, Ren's probably a killer to draw... maybe I'll scetch up some fanart of Skip Beat and see how it turns out, and if it's ok, I'll post it so we can compare, ok? ^_^

I wouldn't be too harsh on yourself about rough lines, after all, practice makes perfect and I feel that all artists can improve, no matter how good they are, which is part of the joy of being an artist. :heart: Anyways, I kinda liked it, it looked like a pretty niffty style, and from what I can tell, you use it fairly well. Keep up the good work. And let me know when that coloring of yours is done. :aww:
