tried going for the goth theme except he came out looking punk rocker. i dunno. that shirt he wears is authentic; my friend has a shirt like that. yeah, certain aspects of the boy are references to her. (wow, this dell keyboard is . . . cool)

lineart done with a mixture of sakura micron and staedtler (sp?) pens. scanned and colored in photoshop. it's simple but surprised the heck out of me when i finished it. never thought that it could look so . . . cool. in any case, it was done with my bro's monitor 'cause he was using mine's to play games on it. the point: his monitor screen is very light, like the darkest dark become visible on this screen, and the screen is set 1024x768 rather than the max screen settings i use on my monitor. i miss my monitor (it's bigger!). for instance, the cat boy's hair isn't supposed to be this red-orange; i was going for the dirty blond look. but i'm fine with the way it is now. too much blond boys will spoil me, i suppose.
