i was all yessss adult maria. since cute's not my forte, i completely forgot about the cute part but i knew for a fact that she's a cute character with a deep fascination with curses and creepy things and would probably have those personality bits years later. i also figured that since she's connected to the entertainment business, she'd at least dressed fashionably. well, i tried to put her in something fashionable in the best of my ability.

i kinda went overboard with the bubbles, didn't i? also, guess what song i was humming to as i was drawing this.
